Night picture of the Hungarian Parliament Building, built in the Gothic Revival style on the bank of the Danube river.. It is currently the largest building in Hungary and it is still the tallest building in Budapest.
Construction was started in 1885 and the building was inaugurated on the 1000th anniversary of the country in 1896. It was completed in 1904 and, sadly, the architect went blind before its completion.
