Oude Haven and Witte Huis in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Oude Haven, or Old Port, or Old Harbor, is one of the oldest harbors of Rotterdam. Probably the first jetty was established here around 1350. The area were completely destroyed in 1940 and only a few buildings survived the German bombing of World War II. One of them was Witte Huis, or White House - the first high-rise building in Europe.
